World Trade Center Islamabad is being developed by the Al Ghurair Giga Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited. It is among 326 WTC’s operating in about 100 countries, with 750,000 affiliations.
Giga Mall - World Trade Center Islamabad was launched on 22 March 2016. Ceremony started with recitation of Holy Quran followed by the Chairman and Mr. Najeeb (Vice-Chairman) speech.
After that there was ribbon cutting ceremony with the revealing of new logo. Sky lanterns, fireworks and confetti blasts added a new color to the ceremony.
Show biz stars dazzled as well as Haroon & Sharoon -The Twin Leo- from Necsafe basement amazed the audience by performing instrumentals of eastern and western songs. Best part was “Game of Throns” and “Sherlock” theme on violin. Later Coke Studio singer Mulazim Hussain gave his enormous performance. Engaging audience, making people dance on his tunes, Mulazim Hussain did what he is good at, a true entertainer.
Giga Mall – World Trade Center is located at Islamabad’s prime location DHA Phase 2. It is situated on the Grand Trunk Road (G T Road). We can say that Giga mall is Pakistan’s biggest shopping mall till date.
